This Week's Find: The Other White House

Once featured in Traditional Home magazine, This Week’s Find is a Chevy Chase listing that gives another meaning to “White House.”
With pale wooden floors, white and cream colored walls and white trim, this home has an ethereal, uber-peaceful feeling throughout. Even the fireplace in the master bedroom has been painted white and cream (and is filled with white logs).
The current owners contributed to that feeling with furniture that is largely in the same color palette, as well as drape-y tablecloths and curtains, giving the interior a sun-drenched, faded effect.
The kitchen is ever-so-slightly highlighted, with cabinets in a pale yellow, and the master bath is in a pale blush.
We also liked the extra spaces throughout the home: the master suite has a peaceful dressing room, and a finished attic could serve as an office or getaway of some sort. The lower level is also finished, and currently has a family room, full bathroom with clawfoot tub, and garden room for rinsing off. The home just entered the market today.
