The Price to Live in the City of Angels Revealed
Two weeks ago, we asked readers to guess the price of of a two-bedroom cottage in Los Angeles. Here are some things that we liked about the home for those that missed the post:
1) The family room, with its wide-plank wood floors and French doors that lead out to a deck overlooking the city.
2) The large backyard that has a number of fruit trees.
3) The 300 square-foot space on the lower level that could be used as a studio or home office space.
So how much would you have to plunk down for this property? The price: $699,000. Here is the listing.
The guesses ranged from a low of $380,000 to a high of $900,000. Congratulations to AwkWord1 for getting closest with a guess of $689,000.
