The 5 Most Important Stats From the February Housing Market
As we wrote on Friday, the path of the housing market in the DC area seems to go in a different direction from one month to the next, as interest rates fluctuate and prospective sellers remain on the sidelines.
Below, UrbanTurf plucked out some of the more telling statistics from the market last month.

- $535,000 -- The median home price in the DC region in February, 1.7% higher than a year ago.
- 20 -- The median number of days that homes are spending up the market, up 13 days compared to last February
- 3,927 -- The number of new listings to come on the market in February, down 37% year-over-year
- -28% -- The drop in pending home sales compared to February 2022.
- 103,000 -- The total number of home showings in the region last month, down 36% year-over-year.
