The ten percent Whole Foods discount is coming to the DC area this week.
Earlier this year, Whole Foods began offering 5 percent cash back to Amazon Prime members that used their Prime credit card to pay for groceries at the store.
On Wednesday, the company will roll out an additional ten percent discount to Prime members on hundreds of Whole Foods items at all of the company's stores, including those in the DC area.
There are two ways that Prime members can take advantage of the new discounts. Members can download the Whole Foods Market app, and then sign in with their Amazon account and scan the app’s Prime Code at checkout. Alternatively, customers can use their phone number at checkout.
