Stephen Starr and Nancy Silverton's Georgetown Italian Concept Will Open in November

One of DC's most anticipated restaurants will open its doors soon.
Washingtonian is reporting that Osteria Mozza, the new Georgetown eatery and market from Philadelphia restaurateur Stephen Starr and Los Angeles-based chef Nancy Silverton, will open on November 10.

The 312-seat Italian concept is located at the former Dean & Deluca location in the Georgetown Market building at 3270 M Street NW (map).The restaurant, designed by New York-based design firm Roman and Williams, will have a variety of different components including a mozzarella bar, a large oval cocktail bar, as well as a small Italian marketplace.
The new eatery will serve thin-crust pizzas, homemade pastas, roasted meats, fish, and vegetables, in addition to fare from the aforementioned mozzarella and prosciutto bars.
