The Babbington Team just sold one of the priciest homes in DC’s Brightwood neighborhood. 609 Nicholson Street NW sold in only six days for just under $1 million.
Originally built in 1931, the four-bedroom and three-and-a-half bathroom home was fully renovated by Boulevard LLC in 2018. The interior was outfitted with custom wood accents, a custom wine cellar, modern kitchen features and sliding barn doors.
Other unique details include exposed wood beams, a wood burning fireplace, fully finished basement and a large backyard. The sale was spearheaded by the Babbington Team’s founder, Margaret Babbington, and Jeff Chreky.
The Babbington Team is an ambitious real estate team at Compass that closed 91 transactions in 2017. The team’s members have diverse backgrounds in marketing and education, as well as architecture and design, giving them a unique perspective on every sale and purchase that they facilitate.
