Right Proper Brewing Company, the pub located just to the west of the Howard Theater, looks like it will be opening up a brewery in Brookland.
The website DC Beer reported on Friday that Right Proper co-owner Nathan Zeender (who used to be the little league coach of one of the co-founders of UrbanTurf) will open up a brewery at 920 Girard Street NE (map).
From DC Beer:
At 920 Girard St NE, in Brookland where head brewer and co-owner Nathan Zeender lives, Right Proper will open a brewery to serve both the restaurant and area accounts.
The property at 920 Girard Street NE is a former auto-body shop. DC Beer promised more details, including an opening date, soon.
