HR-57
- The Washington Business Journal reported via Prince of Petworth that Ping Pong Dim Sum will be opening a second location at One Dupont Circle in the summer of 2011. Not many other details are known other than that the space will seat 223 patrons, with room for an additional 104 outside.
- Jazz lovers in Logan Circle likely shed a few tears this weekend with news that longstanding venue HR-57 will move from its current space at 1610 14th Street NW (map) to 9th and H Street NE at some point in early January. The City Paper reported that the allure of cheaper property taxes was one of the main reasons for the move.
