This weekend Cultural Tourism DC is hosting its semi-annual WalkingTown DC, a two-day event packed full of free walking tours of the District’s neighborhoods. More than 100 tours are scheduled in all corners of the city, making for a great opportunity to check out neighborhoods where your daily life might not otherwise take you. It’s also perfect for visiting some of the more off-the-beaten-path places that you may have read about on UrbanTurf but never ventured to. (Have you ever been to Brookland? Hillcrest? Florida Market?)
