R. Kelly Looking for Apartment on Capitol Hill
You are not misreading that headline. According to his Facebook page, R. Kelly is looking for a one-bedroom apartment to rent on Capitol Hill.
Here is the message that the infamous R&B crooner posted to his friends on Facebook:
The lodging request probably has something to do with the singer’s upcoming concerts at the beginning of July in DC and Baltimore. However, Kelly’s search for an apartment instead of going the traditional rock star route of booking a hotel suite is a little unusual. Unless, of course, he plans on being in DC for more than just a few days.
Update: A fake Facebook page for R. Kelly was the culprit behind the message above. Sorry R. Kelly fans!
