3639 New Hampshire Avenue NW
A listing in Park View just emerged on the market with an asking price of $1.2 million, reported Park View, D.C.
If the home sells for close to the asking price, it will be the first $1 million home in the neighborhood.
So, what warrants the high price tag? The home is larger than a typical rowhouse, with six bedrooms and 3,114 square feet, and the price per square foot is at a reasonable $385.
The interior is freshly renovated, and because of the location at the end of a block, there are plenty of windows. And the home is well located, just a couple blocks from the Petworth Metro station.
Finally, a two-bedroom rental unit on the lower level could offset a portion of the mortgage.
Readers, what do you think? Is this listing priced correctly for the market? More photos and details below.
