The dining room at 3017 N Street NW
The Georgetown mansion that Jackie Kennedy called home following President John F. Kennedy’s assassination was publicly listed for sale today for $8,995,000, after being privately listed for several months. And that means we can now take a look inside.

The living room
Following President Kennedy’s assassination in 1963, the First Lady lived briefly at the house of friend and politician Averell Harriman before buying the seven-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 3017 N Street NW (map). She lived there only briefly and, in 1964, moved to New York.
