How Honest is DC?

"It's a hot July day and there is a cooler full of ice-cold Honest Tea and you think no one is watching…What do you do?"
That is the question that Honest Tea is posing in DC and 11 other U.S. cities today. The tea company, based out of Bethesda, has set up stands in each city where bottled iced tea is available at $1 a pop, but there are no employees to monitor whether customers pay or not. There is, however, a live feed via webcam for each city where those who don't pay can be caught by the internet-viewing public. To view the DC stand, click play on the live feed above.
The DC pop-up stand is located in Dupont Circle, and so far, the city has a respectable 92 percent honesty rate. The stand will be up until 6pm, if you want to try and help DC catch up to Seattle, where apparently everyone is honest.
Update: Seattle's honesty rating has now notably dropped.
