The Capitol Riverfront—home to Nationals Park, Audi Field and the energy of Half Street—is emerging as one of DC’s hottest places to live. Set just off of the neighborhoods’ main thoroughfares is The Avidian: a dynamic new condominium featuring more than fifty unique floor plans (including one- and two-bedroom layouts, townhouses and penthouses) and incredible views of both the city and waterfront. Since its unveiling, homes at The Avidian have been selling quickly and the property is now more than 50 percent sold out.
The property will soon debut nearly completed residences that give buyers a sense of the floorplans and finishes. Private appointments are available; see details below.
The Avidian features a total of 171 residences with a mix of configurations—a variety of one- and two-bedroom homes, as well as six yet-to-be-released two- and three-bedroom penthouses and one final one-bedroom plus den home. Pricing starts around $420,000.
Prospective residents will be able to choose from two interior finish packages. The New Traditionalist palette is sophisticated and elegant featuring all white kitchens and baths with black accents, and the Organic Modernist palette is rich and unencumbered with natural wood textures and white and chrome accents. Both finishes are designed to emphasize style, space and comfort.
All of the homes feature open floor plans ideal for entertaining, lots of natural light, designer-selected fixtures and Bosch, Miele and Blomberg appliances. West facing views are expansive and include landmarks like the Washington Monument, Capitol building, National Cathedral, Pentagon, Masonic Temple and Reagan Airport. Upper floors also have views of the Anacostia River, Pentagon and Washington Monument.
The Avidian features a variety of high-end amenities, including a sleek lobby with a variety of seating options around a cozy fireplace and rooftop pool that overlooks Nationals Park. Residents will also enjoy a fitness club with TRX resistance bands, Peloton bikes and cardio and strength training machines; a courtyard with a yoga deck; controlled-access car and bike parking; and private storage. Avidian is a pet-friendly community with an on-site pet salon and indoor dog park.
Set in the lively Capitol Riverfront neighborhood, The Avidian is close to The Yards, The Wharf and Capitol Hill, as well as some of DC’s hottest restaurants and bars, like Rose’s Luxury, Chloe and Bluejacket.
For more information on The Avidian, visit the property online here. Prospective residents can also contact McWilliams|Ballard’s Timur Loynab at 571-215-6554 or Jennie Mann 703-945-6983 to schedule a hard hat tour. Prospects can view finishes and floorplans and can take an interactive virtual tour of the community amenities and select unit types at the sales gallery. The sales gallery is located at 80 M Street SE.
