Hold The Cider: 47-Unit Apartment Building Planned in Manor Park
Plans are back on the boards for a new apartment building in DC's Manor Park neighborhood, but an interesting beverage component is no longer part of the project.
Back in 2018, Coloma River Capital pitched plans for a 46-unit residential development that would include a cannery for the Anxo cidery at 71 Kennedy Street NW (map). Six years later, plans for a slightly larger apartment building without the cider component on the ground floor have been filed with the city.

RE1 LLC plans to construct a four-story, 47-unit apartment building at the same Kennedy Street NW address.
"The Applicant proposes to raze the existing buildings and construct a four-story residential building with a compliant penthouse," documents filed with DC stated. "The Project includes one level of below-grade parking that will provide 17 vehicle parking spaces and 19 long-term bicycle parking spaces."
The development, designed by CR Studio Architects, will go before the Board of Zoning Adjustment in the coming months.
