Groundbreaking Set for 52-Unit All-Affordable Development in Adams Morgan
Jubilee Housing will break ground this week on a new affordable housing project in DC.
Ontario House, a 52-unit all-affordable project, will break ground on Wednesday in Adams Morgan. The development will retrofit 2400 Ontario Road NW (map) and add to the existing storefronts. The development will be for tenants earning up to 30% and 60% of MFI.

There will also be a rooftop aquaponics farm meant to yield fresh produce that can be sold to the community and to local restaurants and other vendors, while also serving as a workforce development opportunity for the residents. The abutting King Emmanuel Baptist Church will house another 18 beds for returning citizens.
