From One House to a Dozen Units: A New Missing Middle Project in Brookland

A new missing middle development is on the boards in DC's Brookland neighborhood.
Caradoc Properties has filed a zoning application to replace the detached house at 3315 12th Street NE (map) with a three-story building delivering 12 units. Dasol Engineers Architect is the project architect. The units will be one- and two-bedroom residences.

The new development will join a number of other missing middle projects in the works around the city, including a 17-unit project in Palisades and a new townhouse development off Georgia Avenue.
A zoning hearing has not yet been scheduled.
