A McLean estate dubbed the “Castle on the Potomac”, due to its perch above the Potomac River and Tuscan-villa design, is re-entering the market later this month for $16 million.
In addition to its location high above the river, the 16,000 square-foot residence has many calling cards of a home carrying a $16-million price tag, including wood floors imported from around the world, an in-home theater, several different game and recreation areas, and even an underground escape room described in the listing as the "safe haven that you'd expect."
Unlike most luxury homes in the DC region, this listing has a swimming pool, hot tub and sauna that are all located on indoors, allowing the future owner to use them year-round.
The house originally hit the market late last year for $22 million before being taken off the market this summer. Fouad Talout of Long & Foster is now representing the seller.
