Fox News anchor Bret Baier has dropped the price for his sprawling Foxhall Road home in DC, but it still could set a record at the new price.
Back in October, Daniel Heider of TTR Sotheby's International Realty listed Baier's home at 2400 Foxhall Road NW for $31.9 million. This past weekend, the price was reduced to $28.995 million.

Between the land and construction, Baier and his wife spent about $30 million building the home, but only lived in it for a year, as the family relocated to Palm Beach, Florida.

The 16,250 square-foot listing, built by Banks Development, features a putting green, a game room with a golf simulator, a bar, and an indoor sports court as some of its more striking amenities.

If the home sells for close to its new asking price, it would dethrone the Bowie-Sevier house in Georgetown, which sold for $24 million in 2007, as the most expensive home ever sold in the city.
