1121 24th Street NW
Back in 2009, UrbanTurf highlighted one of the smallest homes listed on the market in DC at the time -- a studio in Dupont Circle.
A continued fascination about living spaces this small, coupled with the solutions to living space limitations offered in Dwell magazine's latest issue, made us want to highlight diminutive dwellings currently on the market in DC.
The Chastleton in Dupont Circle has a 320 square-foot studio up for sale. The historic building is home to at least one of DC's hip young staffers and comes with a fitness room and rooftop lounge. For those that don't need that much space, a 307 square-foot studio is available in the West End at 1121 24th Street NW. Currently a second home, the studio comes with luxurious amenities and an extra deep bathtub to settle into when you're feeling claustrophobic.
Taking DC's smallest living space honors, however, is a 266 square-foot studio just east of Union Station, which "needs some love", according to the listing. It is on the market for $260,000.
If you are currently living in less than 375 square feet and staying sane, UrbanTurf would love to hear from you for an upcoming piece. Drop us a line at shilpi@urbanturf.com.
