Gallery Towns

A brand new townhome community called Gallery Towns from Bozzuto Homes celebrated its official grand opening and open house this past weekend in DC’s Brookland neighborhood (map), next door to both Monroe Street Market and the Brookland-CUA Metro station.

Once completed, Gallery Towns will include 45 townhomes, each with three or four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms and either a one-car garage or private yard area with off-street parking space included.

With a number of homes already sold during pre-sales, some 225 interested buyers took part in the open house, kicking off on-site sales for the community. The on-site Gallery Towns sales office is now open seven days a week, from 11:00am to 6:00pm. At the sales gallery, prospective buyers can view everything from floorplans and renderings on an interactive touch-screen kiosk to samples of standard and upgraded finishes.

While high-end finishes and thoughtful floor plans come standard, buyers who invest early have the opportunity to make a townhouse their own. During pre-construction, both finishes and architectural details such as additional baths, loft areas and more are fully customizable.

Standard details include brick exteriors, private rooftop terraces and back yards, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, LED recessed lighting and quartz countertops. Custom options include contemporary trim, home automation, outdoor two-sided fireplaces and extensive upgrades available through the property’s new, state-of-the-art Design Studio. Homes range in size from 1,651 to 1,952 square feet and are priced starting in the $700,000s.

Brookland has a walk score of 84 and is home to a growing number of the restaurants, bars, coffee shops and boutiques, including those at neighboring Monroe Street Market.
