Best New Listings: Logan Circle, Columbia Heights and Eastern Market
In this week’s edition of Best New Listings, we look at a one-bedroom on the top-floor of a three-unit Logan Circle building, a 1,135 square-foot condo with a covered deck in Columbia Heights, and a three-bedroom end unit row home around the corner from Eastern Market.
Top-Level One-Bedroom Condo in Three-Unit Logan Circle Building
There aren’t many one-bedroom penthouse units in small boutique buildings in DC. Not only does this condo sit on the top level of a three-unit project on the eastern edge of Logan Circle, it has 13-foot ceilings, a fireplace framed by two large windows, and a spacious contemporary living space. The 650 square-foot listing has a small foyer and stairway that leads up to the main level, and the building is also just a couple blocks from the Mount Vernon Square Metro on the Green and Yellow Lines.
- Full listing: 922 N Street NW, #301 (map)
- Price: $315,000
- Bedrooms: One
- Bathrooms: One
- Square Footage: 650
- Listing Agent: Megan Markey, TTR Sotheby’s International Realty
1,135 Square-Foot Two-Bedroom Condo With Covered Deck in Columbia Heights
The best part of this 1,135 square-foot two-bedroom Columbia Heights condo (in UrbanTurf’s humble opinion) is the covered deck that sits off the back of the building. However, the unit also has a set of bay windows in the living and dining area and a very large master bedroom. The four-unit boutique project was renovated in 2006 and is about two blocks from Meridian Hill Park.
- Full Listing: 1429 Clifton Street NW, #3 (map)
- Price: $569,000
- Bedrooms: Two
- Bathrooms: Two
- Square Footage: 1,136
- Listing Agent: Phyllis Alexander, Long & Foster

Three-Bedroom End Unit Row Home Around the Corner From Eastern Market
This three-bedroom end-unit row home around the corner from Eastern Market has a number of cool things going for it. There is a small seating area in the living room surrounded by windows, the kitchen has two walls of exposed brick (not a very common feature for DC homes), and an office on the second level that also has a wall of exposed brick. The listing has a brick patio and garden in back, as well as an oversized one-car garage, so parking will not be an issue for the eventual owner.
- Full Listing: 324 8th Street SE (map)
- Price: $759,000
- Bedrooms: Three
- Bathrooms: Two
- Square Footage: 1,902
- Listing Agent: George Torres, RE/MAX Allegiance
