This year, Artomatic, the five-week festival of visual and performing arts, will be held in the Capitol Riverfront at 55 M Street SE (see map here). The opening festivities start today at noon.
The nonprofit festival is a multimedia arts event that is free and open to the public, and features displays by hundreds of artists as well as musical, dance, poetry, theater and other performances. Last year’s Artomatic was held in NoMa. The festival will run from May 29th through July 5th. Full details are below.

Wednesdays and Thursdays: Noon to 10pm
Fridays and Saturdays: Noon to 1am
Sundays: Noon to 10pm
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
