If you are in the market for a home and want that home to feel extraordinarily safe, this Capitol Hill listing might be for you.
A four-bedroom rowhouse along A Street NE recently hit the market with a number of security features that buyers would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else on the market in the DC region.

First off, the property has a military grade security system that came by way of a decommissioned military facility that was operated by Perfecta, a cybersecurity and intelligence firm run by the seller of the home. As described by listing agents Meredith Margolis and Molly Peters of Compass, the system's cameras were "sanitized, reviewed and then installed to 'secure the perimeter' of the A Street property."
The security features do not end with the over-the-top system. The home comes with two secret rooms: one, located behind a basement bookshelf, and another located in the attic turret (accessed through yet another secret passageway) that has been dubbed an escape room. The home also comes equipped with an in-ground safe for the the new owners valuables.
The listing, located about six blocks east of the U.S. Capitol, is on the market for $2.75 million.
