A Block-Long, 370-Unit Development Pitched For Crystal City Looks To Move Forward

Plans for a residential development in the bulging pipeline around Amazon's HQ2 appears to be moving forward.
Last summer, JBG Smith filed plans with Arlington County for a 370-unit building with retail at 2451 Crystal Drive (map). The proposed building, designed by SK+I Architecture, will be seven stories tall and has retail located in a two-story podium along Crystal Drive. The plans for the new building are going before Arlington's Site Plan Review Committee this week.

This plans for the Crystal Drive site are just the latest addition to the pipeline of development for the National Landing neighborhood. There are seven other projects on the horizon that would deliver several thousand residential units to the area.
