A White House Replica Hits the Market in McLean
Virginia's White House is back on the market.
The 12,000 square foot replica of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was listed for sale on Tuesday for $2.65 million. 1111 Towlston Road (map) was designed and built in 1995 by a Vietnam refugee as a way to pay homage to the United States.

While the home replicates the presidential residence on the outside, the interior is a bit more flashy than 1600 Pennsylvania, although the builder did try and replicate the Oval Office. The six-bedroom home has been on and off the market for the last several years and its current listing price is a significant discount from when it was on the market in 2011 for $4.6 million.
