With consistently high levels of new apartment absorption, traditional concessions may have largely fallen out of favor in the DC area, but many communities are still offering intriguing giveaways to lessees. Last year, the most impressive one UrbanTurf saw was a trip to Cuba. Now, the Ampeer in Dupont Circle is looking to kick things up a notch with a pair of the hardest-to-get and most-coveted tickets in town.
This month, Ampeer, the luxury furnished micro-apartment development carved out of the restored Patterson House, is holding a contest that will bestow winners with tickets to the award-winning musical, Hamilton. Ticket-seekers have been scrambling to navigate the Kennedy Center's roll-out for the musical for the past couple of months; the institution announced the a lottery for $10 tickets last week.

A Hamilton ticket giveaway is on-brand for Ampeer, which branded itself as facilitating cultural experiences for its guests, who are often here on a short- or medium-term basis. The community offers a range of services from complimentary dinners to organized trips to city institutions. This month, Ampeer is hosting a series of events that include live concerts and an author meet-and-greet.
The giveaway package includes two tickets to Hamilton and a two-night stay at the community. Instructions for how to enter the giveaway are on Ampeer's Facebook and Instagram pages.
“Our focus at Ampeer is to offer our residents unique opportunities to enjoy our luxury amenities and immerse themselves in DC’s vibrant culture,” Dan Rigaux, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, Development and Finance, said in a statement.
