A McLean home that will apparently last for centuries just found a buyer.
The nearly 8,400 square-foot home designed by architect Mark McInturff and listed for $9.2 million went under contract earlier this week. The home, listed with Fouad Talout and Jack Spahr, Long & Foster Real Estate, has been on the market since late 2023.

One of the more interesting aspects of the five-bedroom listing is the absence of support columns, achieved through the use of giant concrete slabs that help create wide open spaces with 25-foot ceilings. The architectural team subjected the home to commercial-grade inspection standards when it was built in 2016, which gives it a 300-year lifespan with proper maintenance.

Out back, there is a travertine patio with a gas fire pit and grill station, as well as a saltwater waterfall infinity-edge, heated swimming pool that looks out on a creek. For the car lover, the home is outfitted with a showroom garage that can fit up to ten automobiles.
