Homes are selling faster than ever in the DC market and today UrbanTurf looks at exactly where they are selling the quickest.
Using median days on market data for zip codes around DC, we highlighted where homes have been selling the fastest in 2021. In the current high demand market, homes are selling in about a week or less in five zip codes in various sections of the city.

Leading the way are the following three zip codes where homes are selling on median in seven days:
- 20012 -- Home to portions of the Colonial Village, Shepherd Park, and Takoma neighborhoods.
- 20015 -- On the other side of Rock Creek Park, including Friendship Heights, Barnaby Woods, Hawhthorne and Chevy Chase DC.
- 20020 -- A zip code east of the Anacostia River made up largely of the Historic Anacostia, Hillcrest, and Naylor Gardens neighborhoods.
Rounding out the top five are two zip codes where homes are selling just slightly slower than those above - 20017 (home to portions of Brookland and Michigan Park) and 20019 (sections of Fort Dupont Park, sections of the Benning Heights, Fort Dupont, Deanwood, Lincoln Heights, and Marshall Heights).
