Yet another new condo project is coming to Adams Morgan. PGN Architects’ Jeff Goins shared some details with UrbanTurf recently about a new mid-sized project planned for 2337 Champlain Street NW (map).
Aiming to deliver in 2013 or early 2014, it will be a 40-unit condo development with a courtyard design. The project was designed to fit within the context of Champlain Street and the heights of the adjacent buildings, Goins told us. Given the street’s narrow width, designers set the building back five feet from the property line. As Housing Complex noted last week, the project has the increasingly popular “floating facade” design now seen a lot around town. PGN is developing the project in partnership with Altus Realty Partners and Federal Capital Partners.
The new development joins this 19-unit project, and we understand that there could be a 70- (that’s right, 70) unit project coming to the neighborhood.
