The plans for the Carpool site include a 22-story, LEED Gold-certified high-rise with up to 330 residential units atop 8,260 square feet of ground-floor retail. Amenities will include a gym, clubroom, and rooftop sundeck with fire pits, grills and resort-style pool; there will also be 264 parking spaces below grade.

The development, located just blocks from Ballston Metro Station, will also deliver a 2,000 square-foot landscaped plaza. Mitsui Fudosan America is a development partner on the project, which is anticipated to break ground later this year.
