UrbanTurf has learned that a 25-unit condo project is coming to 3511 13th Street NW (map), close to the budding restaurant scene on 11th Street.
The development, to be called Hailey House, will be a condo conversion of the existing apartment building located at the 13th Street address. Developer Madison Investments is familiar with this type of project and the immediate neighborhood, having developed 1020 Monroe a few blocks over.
Hailey House will consist of 18 two-bedrooms and seven one-bedrooms ranging in size from 625 to 920 square feet. In addition to overhauling the building, a roof deck could be added and there will be secure outdoor bicycle storage. Construction is set to begin in mid-June with a delivery date of March 2013.
