$16.5 Million Mansion Near Embassy Row Hits the Market
2221 30th Street NW
Another very expensive historical home has hit the market in DC.
The palatial nine-bedroom, 14.5-bath mansion at 2221 30th Street NW (map) was listed Friday for $16.5 million, making it the second most expensive home for sale within the DC borders. The most expensive home remains the Textile Museum property in Kalorama listed for $22 million.
The listing off Embassy Row spreads out over 13,800 square feet, and has a number of expected high-end features including a media room, elevator, custom wine cellar and a massive driveway. The residence was once the home of venture capitalist Melvin Estrin, reports Washington Business Journal.
Nancy Taylor Bubes of Washington Fine Properties is listing the home. More photos are below and details can be found here.
