12 Stories, 491 Apartments Approved For Site of Ballston Auto Dealership
A rendering of 750 North Glebe Road
In addition to two condo developments, an enormous mixed-use project planned for Ballston was given the green light on Saturday.
The Arlington County Board approved the 491-unit development on the boards for 750 North Glebe Road over the weekend. The development from Saul Centers, to be located on the site of a former Mazda dealership, would include 22 affordable units as well as retail space that would house a car rental business and possibly a grocery store. Saul Centers acquired the development site for approximately $43 million last year.
The project designed by David M. Schwarz Architects received approval for a rezoning, site plan and use permit at the development site. The use permit approval was given so that a car rental company could operate on the site.
