A 12-story, 265-unit Arlington apartment project received approval this weekend to move forward, reported ARLnow.
Latitude Apartments will be located in Virginia Square on the 3600 block of Fairfax Drive (map), and will include 262 underground parking spaces, a public plaza, retail space and a “cultural and educational space.”
Though the community was divided in their support of the development, with some hoping for the site to be turned into an office complex instead as had been previously planned, the Arlington County Board gave the project the go-ahead with a vote of 3-2 on Saturday.
