Big residential redevelopment plans are moving forward for the site of a Walgreens pharmacy in Arlington.
Rooney Properties filed plans last year to build a 12-story, 296-unit building at 3130 Langston Boulevard (map), a site that is currently home to a Walgreens pharmacy. The L-shaped building, designed by dcs design, will go before Arlington's Site Plan Review Committee in the coming weeks.
The new building will have a pool deck with a courtyard on the third level, as well as a 5,000 square-foot public park and dog run. The retail area and the main residential entry will be located along Langston Boulevard, and approximately 350 parking spaces will be provided located in a multi-level garage.
More renderings of the new development can be found below.
