Update: All Units Under Contract at The Coronado

UrbanTurf has learned that the remaining units at The Coronado have gone under contract. We profiled the 28-unit boutique building at the southern tip of Adams Morgan about a month ago when 12 units remained.
The Coronado did not do much marketing — print or online — and spread news of its existence largely through word of mouth. Despite the unconventional approach, 16 of the units were pre-sold and the remaining condos have gone under contract in the past month. In a market when condo developments are struggling to sell a few units a month, the pace at which The Coronado sold out is impressive.
“The last unit went under contract about a week ago,” sales representative Rebecca Israel told UrbanTurf. “It is conceivable that we could get a few back in the 15-day time period that the District gives buyers to review documents and change their mind.”
So, if you were on the fence before, there still might be a (small) chance to buy. The delivery date for the development is set for mid to late-July.
