The Capitol Riverfront BID recently announced leasing and sales statistics for the second quarter of 2009 for a number of residential developments in the neighborhood, and things look strong.
- 60 percent of the combined 960 units at The Axiom and Jefferson at Capitol Yards, and Onyx on First have been leased.
- 25 percent of the units at 909 at Capitol Yards have been leased.
- 88 of 113 town homes have been sold at Capitol Quarter by EYA, meaning that that project is close to being sold out.
- 80 percent of the 344 units have sold at Capitol Hill Tower.
The BID reported that there are an estimated 1,863 residents living in the Capitol Riverfront, well on the way to the 2,000 residents expected by the end of the year.
