Renovated Three-Bedroom Home Near Busboys and Poets
Last week for our What X Buys You post, we featured a three-bedroom row house just around the corner from Busboys and Poets in the U Street Corridor. That home went under contract earlier this week after being on the market for just five days. The row house has almost 1,200 square feet of interior space and was renovated in 2006. The first level has the original pine floors and exposed brick in the living room. The bedrooms on the second floor start out large with the master bedroom and get down to the size of an office with the third bedroom. In addition to a small front porch, the home has a backyard/patio and an off-street parking space.

Penthouse Level Unit With Parking in the U Street Corridor

We selected this property a couple weeks ago for the one-bedroom edition of Best New Listings and it was under contract about 11 days after hitting the market. This penthouse-level condo at The Lincoln Condos is a block north of Ben’s Chili Bowl. The kitchen was recently updated and while the living room is fairly simple it does have a gas fireplace. The large bedroom has two closets and access to a private balcony as well as “top-down/bottom-up” room darkening shades for the buyer that likes to sleep late. The asking price includes a garage parking space.
