This week in Under Contract, UrbanTurf takes a look at three homes that went under contract in between four days and just under a month.
About a Month in Georgetown
Just down the street from Georgetown University is this townhouse with two-car garage parking. The home took 29 days to go under contract and a $100,000 price reduction helped move the listing. While a bit on the small side, UrbanTurf’s favorite aspect is the kitchen with its deep farmhouse sink, white cabinetry, black and white stove and gold accenting. The kitchen opens into a living room and dining room that overlook the garden and rear yard. The master suite on the upper level has its own sitting room.

Four Days for “The Best Living Room in the City”
When UrbanTurf featured this home a couple weeks ago, we made special mention of the living room, which runs the length of the home and has arched ceilings. Clearly, a buyer liked it as well, as the home was snatched up in just four days. There are entertaining spaces on every level of the property, as well as an open light-filled office on the top level. A creamy orange archway greets guests as they walk through the front door, and there is also a large stone patio and a landscaped yard out back.

Ten Days for a Great Patio
This four-bedroom in Cleveland Park is filled with tasteful updates and accents. The main level consists of a living room, den, dining room, kitchen and a sun room with double doors that open to a patio and a very deep backyard by neighborhood standards. There is a lower level with laundry and more space for entertaining. One of the best features of the home is the large stone patio, which can accommodate several pieces of furniture. The home found a buyer in just over a week.
