In This Week’s Find, we discover a six-bedroom home that is representative of the classic houses found in 16th Street Heights (see our profile of the neighborhood). In addition to a large front porch, the home has restored pine and oak floors, a large living room with a fireplace and a kitchen with appliances like a four-door refrigerator. There is also a finished attic that could be used as another bedroom, a home office or an artist studio. Owned by a Vietnam veteran, the home was granted license by the city government to host veterans gatherings. More details and photos below.
