Usually, the best bungalows in the DC area are located outside the city borders in places like Del Ray and Takoma Park.
So, for This Week’s Find, we were very excited to happen upon a cool bungalow in AU Park. The four-bedroom Arts and Crafts home sits a couple blocks from the Maryland border and a walkable distance to the Tenleytown Metro, and has a small facade that disguises a large interior.

The crafty house has been extended and now measures out at 2,300 square feet, creating extra space for a large mud room, an in-law suite with a kitchenette and a sitting area and office in the master bedroom suite. A detached garage, front porch and large backyard offer some suburban comforts.
