This new three-bedroom home along the 3600 block of R Street NW has many calling cards of Price's style. The backside of the house will be made entirely of glass, allowing natural light to pour into the living space. Privacy fins on the exterior will make it so passersby and neighbors can’t see into the home. A floating glass and steel stairwell will connect all four levels.
The primary bedroom suite will take up the entire top floor of the house - offering two full walk-in closets, a large bathroom with a waterfall shower and a multi-purpose office space. The second floor is split by the other two bedrooms, each with individual bathrooms accessible through walk-in closets.
The main floor is open with a kitchen that will feature stainless steel appliances, built-in lighting fixtures and white cabinetry. Throughout the home, light wood walls, ceilings and floors will help to create a modern feel.
Plans for the ground floor level include a kitchenette, a family room, another full bathroom, a laundry area and a den. A back door will lead to the fenced slate patio and grass area.
Finishing touches are expected to be wrapped up by the end of the year, the listing agent said.
