Rocket Companies is taking a page from the Super Bowl advertising playbook with a splashy promotion: a chance to win a home worth up to $1 million.
The contest, dubbed "The Great American Home Search," will begin immediately following a Super Bowl ad from Redfin and parent company Rocket Companies that features Lady Gaga performing "Won't You Be My Neighbor".
To enter the contest, participants will need to download the Redfin app and complete a scavenger hunt during the 48 hours following the ad. Created in partnership with geoguessing creator Trevor Rainbolt, the hunt will feature six prompts through the app that require users to utilize Redfin's search tools and filters to identify clues.
The winner will be the first eligible participant to successfully identify the mystery home, which will be located in what Redfin describes as "one of America's most celebrated neighborly neighborhoods."
