409 Glendale Road — Bellevue, Idaho
Not long ago, we asked readers to guess the price of a home in Idaho that was a little out of the ordinary for real estate in that part of the country.
Here is a brief description of the home for those that missed the post:
The house is made largely out of cinder block and plywood, and even though it is quite large, it has just one bedroom. Distinctive features include numerous over-sized windows and a garden that is enclosed by high walls that prevent the desert wind and sand from disturbing the home’s roses and fruit trees.

So how much would you have to plunk down for this property? Well, much more than most people would think. The price: $3.5 million. Hard to believe, we know, but here is the listing as proof.
The guesses ranged from a low of $375,000 to a high of $3.5 million. Congratulations to Vera for hitting the nail on the head with her guess of $3.5 million.
