Virginia's version of The White House has sold.
The 12,000 square foot replica of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue was listed for sale back in August for $2.65 million. It went under contract in December at a reduced listing price of $2.495 million, and sold this month for $2.438 million.

1111 Towlston Road (map) was designed and built in 1995 by a Vietnam refugee as a way to pay homage to the United States. While the home replicates the presidential residence on the outside, the interior is a bit more flashy than 1600 Pennsylvania, although the builder did try and replicate the Oval Office.
The six-bedroom home was on and off the market for the last several years.
