The Swimming Pool Becomes the Aquarium

A Brazilian apartment has turned a swimming pool into an aquarium.
While renovating the home in Sao Paulo, Brazilian architect Fernanda Marques added a swimming pool with a bit of an interesting vantage point. The lap pool is visible from the living room through glass windows.

"This wish was embraced by Fernanda Marques with open arms, who decided to place the pool front and centre in the living room, so that in addition to enjoying it for leisure, it would create an element of tension," the architect's studio, Fernanda Marques Arquitetos Associados, told dezeen.
