Among the amenities in the second phase of the over 400-unit development will be a maker's workshop with a photo studio. Available by appointment, the 300 square-foot workshop will contain a communal workbench and hand tools for woodworking and similar crafts. Inside the workshop, a light box-style office-sized room will serve as a photo studio.
"Both current and prospective residents have voiced their excitement about using the private dining room in the East building for intimate gatherings and the photo booths for amateur and professional photographers alike," Chris Oursler, development director at Rooney Properties, told UrbanTurf. "Residents are also looking forward to taking advantage of the maker's space and getting to work on their own passion projects without having to travel far from their front door."
Leasing will begin early next year on the phase that contains the amenity. Rooney Properties and Bozzuto are the developers and MV+A Architects is the designer.
