Just North of $9 Million: The Most Expensive Condo in DC Just Sold

The priciest condo to ever sell in DC just closed last week, nearly a month after the most expensive home in the DC region found a buyer.
A three-bedroom penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton in the West End sold on Friday for $9.15 million, making it the most expensive condo to ever sell in DC. The home was listed with Ben Roth of Washington Fine Properties. Nancy Taylor Bubes of Washington Fine Properties represented the buyer.

Known as the presidential penthouse, the renovated condo spreads out over 5,700 square feet with a large owner's bedroom suite with two bathrooms, as well as two other large bedroom suites, a gym, a large eat-in kitchen and three balconies.
The most expensive condo to sell in DC prior to this unit was a penthouse at the Wardman Tower in Woodley Park. The 4,400 square-foot residence sold for $8.4 million in 2017. The most expensive condo currently on the market in DC is a penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown listed for $18 million.
