The Italian restaurant that is looking to move into the Georgetown Market is aiming for a late-2023 opening.
The news came at Monday night's ANC 2E meeting, where the ANC supported the alcohol license for the Stephen Starr-backed eatery.
"They are looking to open in 16 to 18 months," Matt Minora, an attorney for the Georgetown Restaurant Group, told the ANC.

The restaurant will occupy the former Dean & Deluca location at 3270 M Street NW (map). Dean & Deluca closed its doors in 2019 after being in operation since 1993.
Stephen Starr, who has become well known in DC restaurant circles with Le Diplomate in Logan Circle and St. Anselm at Union Market, described the new establishment last year as a “mega Italian concept” that will offer an “abundant, unbelievable experience.”
